I liked that bike a lot, but this new cafe racer is a package that's almost too good to pass up. The cafe racer is good for a beginner unless you are. I may be in the minority, but i suggest a new, cafe racer style bike. Building your own bike is awesome, but also requires a lot of time, effort, skills, knowledge, space etc.

I like cruisers but i really like the cafe racer style. You’ll find good road bikes from under $500, and you’ll even find some great cheap road bikes are available around the $300 mark.
